My second son cannot stand the taste of chocolate. We figured there was an issue when he was just about two and threw the most incredible tantrum when we tried to take away his broccoli and feed him a hot fudge sundae. He is now twenty and still finds anything derived from cocoa extremely distasteful. (definitely not my gene!)

Funny, just yesterday at my home it was no more salad until you finish your pizza.

That was funny. I've said similar things in regards to pizza. :-)
I guarantee you my parents never said that to me! Meat and potatoes all the way.
If ever there were justification for genetic modification, it would be to insert Catholic Mom's second son's cocoa-hating gene into my body...

It beats what I had to tell mine yesterday, about the milk...that's for sure.
How about letting them dip their broccoli in some nice fattening cheese sauce, or ranch dressing, and they can get their protein that way.
